Daily Bread

Kind of failed at my second attempt at french bread. I tried to use just some of the sponge from the previous day's bread as leavening, and I should have also added some new yeast. It had a good sour taste but was pretty dense and flat. It looks pretty good from the top- you can't tell how short the loaves are! Ha!

Daily Bread

My first french bread! Made in a wood-fired oven up in canada. The crust cracked loudly when we pulled it out of the oven. Yeah!

Daily Harvest

These potatoes threw themselves out of the ground! They were just kind of bubbled up next to a little potato plant volunteer. And on just the day I was planning to make soup.
