Daily Bread
Kind of failed at my second attempt at french bread. I tried to use just some of the sponge from the previous day's bread as leavening, and I should have also added some new yeast. It had a good sour taste but was pretty dense and flat. It looks pretty good from the top- you can't tell how short the loaves are! Ha!

Daily Bread
My first french bread! Made in a wood-fired oven up in canada. The crust cracked loudly when we pulled it out of the oven. Yeah!

Daily Cheese
Kate took a cheese-making class with her mom and sisters. Here is what you can make with one quart of goat milk: chevre cheese (on left) ricotta cheese (on right) and a lot of whey.
