Can you eat the bumpy guys? We have 1 delicata squash in our garden that thrived despite our total neglect. And some nice sweet little dark yellow zucchini types, too. And the one stalk of green beans that the deer missed keeps giving us a handful of beanies every few days. Yay!
We have been eating the bumpies. They came up where we planted our winter squash and so we are determinedly eating them as such. We are wondering if we let them sit around off the vine for awhile if they will get sweeter... They are a little bland and watery.
