Our attempts at urban agriculture.
We wanted to make a record of all the stuff we manage to grow.
It's so dang satisfying making food in the backyard.

Tomatoes for the Winter!
I think the tomatoes are done for the year- except for a few more green ones maybe. Here are all the frozen tomatoes we stockpiled. I dipped in to the stash tonight to make piza sauce for our election party. Obama!!!!!!
I have a co-worker who harvests his final round of tomatoes as they are green. The he stores them in a cool place until he wants to ripen them, then he puts 'em in a bag with an apple and they ripen right up!

But what about fried green tomatoes and green tomato chutney? Maybe we could save some.... I do like the idea of having ripe tomatoes in December!
